Daydream

Seen in the Lonely Planet Thailand, edition 2018:

"[Our pick] Magnolia Guesthouse (0 3525 1234; www.magnoliaguesthouse.com; 28 Soi 2, Th Phra Chang; dm 100 B, s 300 B, d/tw 500 B). Excellent guesthouse, conveniently located in a quiet alleyway near the Old City. Rooms are clean, nicely decorated and come with private bathrooms. Budget travelers may opt for the spacious bamboo rooftop dormitory instead. The friendly multilingual owners provide their guests with a wealth of information on local culture and history as well as useful insider's travel tips. On request, they can also organize treks in the surrounding mountains. Other amenities here include a large, shady garden; free wireless internet for guests; bicycle rental (50 B/day); a decent breakfast menu (try the organic muesli with fresh fruit); and, best of all, a small bar with a selection of imported Belgian beers.
The Magnolia restaurant next door (dishes 50-250 B) belongs to the same owners, and serves a variety of organic dishes (Western, Asian and fusion). The soups and salads are particularly recommended. If you stay in the guesthouse, you'll receive a 10% discount on your food bill."

Weet je dat Ingrid dit echt gaat proberen te doen? In Braziliƫ wil ze met haar Braziliaanse vriendje een stuk land kopen en kleine hutje bouwen om als slaapplek te verhuren... Mooie dromen zijn dat... :)
